When buying a subscription on behalf of a customer, you may wish to offer your customer a discount either because you want to split a commission from the subscription vendor with your customer or because it’s part of your customer value proposition.

With AppBind, it’s simple.  Just add a negative markup, such as -10.00%, in the Add your management fee or discount field.  For example:

From then on, AppBind will calculate and apply the discount every time you charge your customer. Set and forget!

How is the discount funded?

You can fund the discount out of your AppBind balance, funding sources on file, or overdraft. If you’re receiving commissions as rebates from vendors, those will flow into your AppBind balance.

If these vendors have not set up automatic rebates, or you are receiving commissions from subscription vendors outside of AppBind, you’ll have to fund your discount from your own payment sources.

We suggest setting up an automatic top-up balance for yourself. You’ll need to add your funding source in AppBind.
